So... I clearly didn't post as regularly since leaving the old work sitch as I had said I wanted to... but I would still like to!.. hahaha... new work has been quite busy... and we work 9's in order to get every second Friday off... I like having the Friday off but am still adjusting to not getting home until later in the evening...
So... how have you been?.. what have you been up to?.. I just woke up on the couch... Today was my Friday off but I worked in the morning for a bit... I had planned to go climbing today today... more on that in a moment... but I had done hot yoga late last night... more on that in a moment too... but anywhoo I was pooped when I left work and made a quick trip down to the Core... so I hopped the Ctrain an headed up to Pickle's work to pick up the truck... shit... more on that one too I guess... hahaha...
SO... here are some shots... I'm still lovin Instagram... of the past two months that I've been MIA...
Got a few more rides in before snow started falling... not enough though... the kitties are settling in more and more all of the time... Tinny has stopped climbing the walls... and we have all of the touchup patching completed as well as the repainting of those spots... we finally finished that work last weekend...
...still enjoying dressing for work... only rumour has it that jeans are moving to Fridays only... eep!.. say it ain't sooooooo...
Still not totally digging the c train... I don't think I ever will... it does lead to some neat photos though...
...a few weeks back when I ran to the Chinook mall on one of my Friday's off it hit me to pop into a jewellery store on my way out... just to see if they had anything like what I had in mind for my wedding band... well... they did!.. and it was very inexpensive... I sent a couple pictures to Chris and he loved it as well and he told me to scoop it up!.. then a weekend or so later we went and picked one out for him!.. and we picked it up today!.. Now we just have to pick a date... I think so far we've narrowed it down to next Fall...
Been eating lots of food of course... and still not cooking enough... still eating too much takeout!..
Edamame... EdaNOMe!.. been to Muku a few times in the past few weeks... we just can't resist... nothing helps beat the cold like some tasty ramen...
...we picked up a popcorn maker... first I grabbed up one that uses oil and heat to make the popcorn but I didn't like the final popped results... so it went back and an air popper came home... we LOVE it... the sound... the smell... brings back memories of making popcorn with mom when I was a kiddy...
...Before the snow came I squeeze in a couple of dresses at work... I wouldn't dare think of wearing one now... fuck it's cold out... Found this polka dotty one at Forever XXI...
Have been trying out some food trucks... If Waffles and Chix is nearby you at any point... GO AND GET SOME!.. OMFG... NOM... DELISH...

I'm taking shots all over the place... every time I look around me I see square pictures!.. this leather bag was on the table at Starbucks when I was waiting for my Chai...

October 4th was our 12 year anniversary!.. yep!.. only we both forgot until it was halfway through the day!.. BUT we got a reso at Charcut for that night and went and had a tasty feast... again... NOM!.. everything they send out of their kitchen is ridiculously delicious...
...it's definitely sweater weather...
...OH!.. Seeing as I now work two blocks west of the Core I have developed an addiction to Yogen Fruz... don't judge me... just go and get their cheesecake concoction... NOM...
Found this little gem while Pickly and I were out doing some Christmas shopping... he insisted I get it :) I'm one very lucky little pickle that's for sure!..

...went to see The Bouncing Souls!.. IT WAS AWESOME!.. Chris couldn't make it so my Ricki came with me... we had a blast... I was sore for days after... got in on a little mosh action... found a couple of bruises a couple of days after as well... haha... great crowd... amazing show...
Just a couple of weekends ago Pickle and I went to pickup our Escape from the dealership as it was getting an oil change... we left with...
THIS... YEP!.. a giant truck!.. Pickly has wanted a truck for awhile now... seriously like for like 3 years awhile now!.. so we left the Escape behind and drove away in this beast...
...We've had our yearly reunion with Alicia E of Trouble Bound Tattoo... again these visits are never long enough... the longer we're away from home the longer I want the visits to last with people from home!.. no tattoos this year though... maybe next...
...I'd decided that I needed a physical activity no that I'm in a super office job... so decided to try climbing... turns out I really like it... though I feel like a total wiener trying to do it... But like anything else you have to practice and work at it... I've also been going to hot yoga again at Soul... this place is amazing... the staff here are so great and warm and caring... and if you are new to the studio they have a great deal on right now!.. $40 for a month of unlimited classes!.. I've done a few now... I really enjoy the slower restorative classes... I did a flow class last week and just about died... it was hard...
...Wore these to work... selling the fashion rips hard... there is lace underneath the rips... and with black platform pumps and blazer they're totally office acceptable right?!.

Last weekend Pickly and I stayed in and watched a few episodes of The Walking Dead... seriously I don't like scary shows... movies... whatever... but so many people now have told me that it's a good show... so we cracked open some wine and after I assembled the green kitteh house we made it through the end of Season One and partway into Season Two!..
C Train not so fun times... man it is cold in the mornings...
...and in the evenings... I'm not ready to face winter...
...but I do like to dress snuggly and warm...
...I brought Rod to work last week... but it was on my day off... I'm not sure I could get away with having him on at work on a normal work day...
As I sat and started this post Mr. Ollie-mer came up for some sweet snuggles... now while I finish up TinTin is the one up for snuggles...
...and I found this sweet phone case... HAVE to stop going to the Core at lunch... haha... okay so me me me me me... Really haven't been up to much in the way of anything creative... seems I've only been shopping... there are a few projects that I want to finish up... we did repaint the office from Bird's Nest Brown to a nice crisp Cream... and there is a little more work to do in there before it is finished... cushions for the bench... and we have to hang the wall things back up... Once I get it sorted (hopefully tomorrow)... I'll have the space to get back working on my projects... and I'll have some decent things to blog about!..
